Business Confederation of North Macedonia (BCNM) celebrates 25 years since its foundation and began its work as an employers’ association, which articulates, represents and supports the interests of its members and the interests of the business sector in the country. Today, BCNM’s membership includes more than 8,000 companies, with two regional offices in Prilep and Gevgelija and headquarters in Skopje.

Representing and advocating the interests of its members is the organization’s primary interest. BCNM is a fundamental business partner for the expression of the business community and a promoter of economic development, socio-economic dialogue and industrial relations in the country. By promoting the concept of responsible business conduct, BCNM encourages economic development and long-term sustainability of companies.

The knowledge and positions of the Business Confederation of North Macedonia are based on continuous communication with its members, as well as on in-depth research, analysis and assessment of the situation in various areas of social and economic activity at local, national and regional level. Over the years, the BCNM has continuously worked to improve the business climate in the Republic of North Macedonia and to advocate for changes that support businesses in strengthening their role and position in society. As a business confederation, BCNM closely monitors the process of adoption of laws and by-laws and remains committed to identifying practical solutions for reducing bureaucratic barriers, improving the regulatory environment and creating more favourable conditions for doing business in North Macedonia.

We continue to build cooperation with our membership and our partners and to represent their interests through regular reporting on progress, in fact, the Business Confederation of North Macedonia, together with its membership, works towards representing the interests of its members and the business community and will continuously strive to reduce and eliminate barriers to business.

The sincere aspiration of the Business Confederation of North Macedonia is to contribute to making the Republic of North Macedonia a country where doing business is safe, profitable and sustainable, and where people can live well, with dignity, stability and a sense of fulfilment.
